- Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
- Day 2: Kathmandu sightseeing tour
- Day 3: Fly Pokhara and half-day sightseeing tour (25 mins flight)
Early morning, a private vehicle will come to pick you up at the hotel. You will be transferred to Sorakhutte Tourist Bus station. You will drive Pokhara from there which will take around 7 hours depending on the traffic. You will drive on a tourist bus which will be safe and comfortable. Rooms will be assigned near Phewa Lakeside after reaching Pokhara. Rest of the day is free to explore and enjoy the ambience of Pokhara Lakeside.
- Day 4: Drive to Banthati (3 hrs.); Trek Ghorepani (2840 m; Trek 3 hrs.)
- Day 5: Hike Poonhill (3210 m); Trek to Tadapani (2610 m; Trek 5 hrs.)
Early morning, you will hike Poonhill from where you will admire the most beautiful and mind blowing sunrise. You will meet many other trekkers during the early walk to Poonhill. It is about 1.5 hours hike up to Poonhill. Amazing view of Mt. Fishtail, Mt. Himchuli, Mt. Annapurna South, Mt. Annapurna I, Dhaulagiri and many more other peaks can be admired from Poonhill with a mind blowing sunrise.You will spend some time at Poonhill and then descend to Ghorepani. You will check out from the hotel and then start trekking Tadapani. Tadapani is around 4 hours trek from Ghorepani. The walk contains ascending and descending of various stone steps inside the dense forest of rhododendron. You will pass various human settlements and small waterfalls.
- Day 6: Trek Tadapani to Ghandruk (1940 m; Trek 4 hrs.)
This will be the last day of the trek. You will drive Pokhara the next day. After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and start hiking to Ghandruk. The trail is not so difficult. You will reach Ghandruk in less than 5 hours though you walk in normal pace. You will be very surprised to see the first glimpse of Ghandruk village. The small stone roofed houses with the Himalayas background will cherish you. Ghandruk is a large settlement of Gurung tribes of the Himalayas. After reaching Ghandruk, rooms will be assigned as per the reservation. Rest of the day is free to explore and interact with the locals.
- Day 7: Drive Ghandruk to Pokhara (Drive 3.5 hours)
This morning, you will drive down all the way to Pokhara. You will visit the Gurung museum and explore the village early morning and then get ready for the drive. A private vehicle will come to pick you up. You may have to walk for 5-10 minutes to reach the bus park. It is around 3.5 hours’ drive to Pokhara from Ghandruk via Birethanti, Nayapul and Kande. After reaching Pokhara, rooms will be assigned. Rest of the day is free for shopping and exploring around the lakeside. You can experience the night life of Pokhara as well.
- Day 8: Fly Pokhara to Kathmandu (25 mins flight)
- Day 9: Final Departure
